A Twist at Merlefest!

Heyyyyyy Travelers!!!!

How many of you know what Merlefest is?  Anyone? Anybody?!

Merlefest is where people come together in Wilkes County and have a fun time together.  They have different groups of music bands that come and people also go and eat different kinds food.  There are different kinds of people that attend.  It does cost money to get in, but it is well worth it.  A ticket for one day is worth $40.  But like I told you before it is well worth it.  The days are from a Thursday to Sunday in the month of April.

I had the pleasure of going this past Saturday and Sunday. I was able to help out my boyfriends church with the BBQ that they were helping a restaurant on old 421 (Yadkin County) sell.  Just being able to go and hear the music was worth it for me.  Although I didn't know the bands, I knew that they were good because we were there listening.

The BBQ was the best I've had in a long time! So, for all you BBQ lovers, next year go to Merlefest, enjoy the BBQ and great music.  There are different types of food their too.  From Apple fritters, Grilled Corn on the Cob, Thai, Hot dogs, to BBQ.  They make sure that they hit all of the food differences that there are.

There is a company that comes out every year called Sandy Feat that carves a theme out of sand that they have imported.  Check it out below.  Can you see now that I am talking about a big event?!?

Make sure that you check it out next year at the Wilkes Community College grounds!

As sad as this is to say, I am in my exams for the last spring semester of college.  There are so many things that I wish that I could tell you all, but sadly I don't have enough time.  On the plus side of things, I will try my best to keep this blog going or I will start another blog.  This is still in the works of what I am going to do.

So with all of that that I have said this will be my last blog for a while.  I have summer fun that I am going to enjoy and work so I can have money to continue my fun.

Until next time, have fun and be safe!
